Love in Islam

Love In Islam

Since I revert to Islam, I have heard more about the punishment of Allah than about the love of Allah. I started feeling that: do Allah like only to punish? But Alhamdulillah after attending one class, I realize that Allah really love us human even though in the Quran Allah didn’t state that He love us. But the marvelous way is that Allah show us that He love us through practical way. Below I will try to explain about the love in Islam according to Quran and also some Hadith.

Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Az-Zumar 39:53)

"Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped.
(Az-Zumar 39:54)

This verse is to show us that Allah will forgive us all the time if we really repent on our sins. No matter what sin that we commit, if we have not yet die, Allah will forgive it. But if a person has die, Allah will also forgive all his sins except for one.

Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed.
(An-Nisa 4:48)

But does it mean that those who don’t know about Islam will also be punish? The answer is a NO. This is because Allah is always just. This is mention through the below verse.

Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an messenger (to give warning).
(Al Isra 17:15)

For those who don’t know about Islam, Allah will send messenger to them so that they know about Islam. But how about those age where there is no more messenger? If there is no more messenger, then the duty of spreading about Islam drop to the ummah after the Messenger such as Daie.

Below is one verse that show Allah is never unjust in the least degree.

Allah is never unjust in the least degree: If there is any good (done), He doubleth it, and giveth from His own presence a great reward.
(An Nisa 4:40)

Allah is always ready to double our reward. This is also shown in the Quran and  hadiths.

He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: He that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be done unto (any of) them.
(Al Annam 6:160)

For Deeds Allah multiply by 10 times. Waoo really a lot, but sin Allah didn’t multiply it. Allah really love us in which don’t want us to bear so many sins. And always ready to forgive us.

l      Sahih Bukhari 8:498, Riwayat Ibnu Abbas
Niat buat kebaikan tapi tak dilakukan, dibalas pahala penuh
Niat buat kebaikan dan dilakukan, dibalas 10 hingga 700 kali ganda pahala
Niat buat kejahatan tapi tak dilakukan, dibalas pahala
Niat buat kejahatan dan dilakukan, dibalas satu dosa

Here also shown about multiplication of deeds in which some may be multiply to 700 times ! Waooh.

Here is most best part in Quran

Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,
(Al Furqaan 25:70)

Allah change the sins to deeds ! unexpected gift from Allah.

At the end also, Allah has always remind us to repent on our sins so that we may be admitted to heaven and not to be condemn to hell.

He is the One that accepts repentance from His Servants and forgives sins: and He knows all that ye do.
(Ash Shura 42:25)

Allah always ready to forgive us and always encourages us to do deeds through giving us multiplication of deeds.

One conclusion which I get is that: The forgiveness of Allah is bigger than the mistakes of human.

Good article... In every punishment that mention in Quran & Hadith, actually its hidden thr love of Allah towards His creature. Allah love us and that is the reason He gave us warning beforehand so we will knew the consequences of each action. SubhanAllah...

Yup, I am glad to know that Allah says "Rahmat-Ku mendahului Kemurkaan-Ku".
Kasih Allah melebihi kemurkaan terhadap kesilapan manusia.
